Wrestling Canada Lutte held its 2025 Annual General Meeting virtually on September 9, 2025. The meeting brought together members of the wrestling community from across the country for important updates and discussions on the future of the sport.

Director elections were conducted during the AGM, and we are pleased to announce that Brittanee Laverdure, Kim Ma, and Michael Joko were all re-elected to the Board of Directors for two-year terms. We extend our sincere thanks to the nominations committee and all individuals who put their names forward.

The meeting also featured continued dialogue on sport integrity and safety, with the support of Sport Law, building on the recently released Preliminary Report — Future of Sport in Canada Commission and the evolving Canadian Sport Policy. There was continued support and emphasis on the importance of collaboration and alignment to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for wrestling in Canada.
