Ottawa – Wrestling Canada Lutte has announced the team-members competing April 24 – 26, 2015 at the 2015 Senior Pan Am Championships. The Santiago, Chile event represents the final qualifier for the 2015 Pan Am Games.

“Sights are set on the 2015 Pan Am Games as we head into this important Pan Am Championships and qualifyer in Santiago,” says Wrestling Canada Lutte Executive Director Tamara Medwidsky.

For Santiago, the impressive Canadian Team will head to Chile for challenging competition and a chance to check out the competitors vying for medals this summer in Toronto. Among the team will be 2014 Commonwealth Games Champion Korey Jarvis who recently won a Canadian Championship in both the Freestyle and Greco-Roman styles at the 2015 ASICS Senior Canadian Wrestling Championships in March. On the women’s side, 2014 Commonwealth Games and FISU World University Champion Dorothy Yeats will be competing in the 69 KG category along with other 2015 Canadian Champions Genevieve Morrison (48 KG), Justina Di Stasio (75 KG).

Among the other team-members, in addition to the Freestyle and Women’s wrestling contingent, the complete list of Canadian Greco-Roman Champions looking for a Pan Am Games spot will also be competing in Santiago.
