After much discussion internally and with external stakeholders, Wrestling Canada Lutte will be removing the UWW Medical form as a necessary registration requirement for the 2018 Canadian Championships. Completion of the form is recommended for any athletes expecting to compete internationally.

CADET ATHLETES

It is important to note that those athletes who finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd at the 2018 Cadet Team Trials MUST have the form completed and submitted to Wrestling Canada Lutte no later than 5 pm ET on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. This will allow WCL enough time to adhere to international UWW timelines for upcoming event registration, including the 2018 Cadet Pan Am Championships. Failure to submit the completed form in time, will result in the athlete being removed from consideration for the 2018 Cadet Pan Am Championships and/or any other related international teams. There will be no exceptions as Wrestling Canada Lutte must meet these international deadlines set forth by United World Wrestling (UWW).

The UWW medical form will still be accessible through the 2018 Canadian Championships registration portal (register.wrestling.ca), and the Wrestling Canada Lutte website (www.wrestling.ca).
