GUATEMALA CITY – Wrestling Canada Lutte is sending 17 wrestlers to the Pan-American Championships. The tournament will take place May 27-30 at the “Teodoro Palacios Flores” National Gymnasium in Guatemala City.

Over 180 athletes from 16 different nations will compete at the tournament.

The Canadian women’s team will be led by 2019 World Champion Linda Morais, and 2018 U23 World Champion Alex Town.

On the men’s side, Olympic Trials winners Dillon Williams, Jasmit Phulka and Clayton Pye as well as 2018 Junior World Championship silver medallist Aly Barghout will compete for spots at the top of the podium.

Daniel Coles will kick the tournament off for Canada as the lone Greco-Roman wrestler.
