Individual medals handed out at Canada Games

August 23, 2025

ST. JOHN’S – The wrestling competition officially wrapped up on Aug. 23 as the individual portion of the event took centre stage. Wrestlers had earned their ranking thanks to their results during the team competition. Using the pools from the team duals, the top two wrestlers earned spots in the semifinals. The number one crossed over to face the number two in the other pool, with the two winners advancing to the finals. The remining matches were a direct cross over for final placing (ie. third place in Pool A versus third place in Pool B for fifth overall).
