Program Overview

Inuit Wrestling is an introductory program to Inuit wrestling and Olympic-style wrestling for Inuit communities. The program is specifically adapted to meet the learning needs of the culture.  The program aims to provide support for communities running workshops, by helping to provide coaching resources and equipment. More than a dozen communities in Nunavut and the Northwest Territories hosted events in 2024.
