Pagé joins WCL as Sport Development and Event Manager
Ottawa – Wrestling Canada Lutte is pleased to announce the addition of Andrew Pagé as Sport Development and Event Manager.
Pagé previously worked as Manager, Coach/Officials Development at Athletics Canada, where he led athletics coaching education program development, eLearning and coach evaluation programs.
He has also been involved with the Ottawa Lions Track and Field Club for the past seven years, most recently as Assistant Director and Program Manager.
“These are exciting times for WCL and I am excited to be a part of its journey,” said Pagé. “I look forward to meeting all the partners and contributing to the growth of the sport moving forward.”
As the Sport Development and Event Manager, Pagé will be responsible for managing WCL sanctioned events, developing coach education plans, overseeing WCL’s long-term athlete development program, and officials’ development. Pagé will also liaise with provincial/territorial sport organizations and support annual and quadrennial planning.
“We’re excited to have Andrew join us and share his knowledge and experience in sport development and event management,” said Tamara Medwidsky, Executive Director. “Andrew’s vast experience in the sporting world will be a valuable to Wrestling Canada Lutte.”
Pagé begins with WCL on January 8, 2018.
