Women’s Cadet Trials & Greco-Roman Competition Completes 2015 Championships
Fredericton, NB – The Greco-Roman portion of the 2015 ASICS Cadet / Juvenile Canadian Wrestling Championships as well as the Women’s Cadet Trials have finished, ending the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton event.

Wrestling Canada Lutte thanks the University of New Brunswick, the Black Bears Wrestling Club and the organizing committee for hosting a well-run and well-attended Championships.
For Greco-Roman, in addition to the medals being presented, awards were announced. Based on ballots submitted during the competition, the Outstanding Juvenile Men’s Greco-Roman wrestler award went to 76 kg champion John Yeats of the Tristar Wrestling Academy. The Outstanding Women’s Greco-Roman wrestler award went to Coast Wrestling Club’s Cierra McCrae at 49 kg.
Other Greco-Roman awards presented included:
- Club Team Award Juvenile Men’s Greco-Roman: Guru Gobind Singh Wrestling Club
- Provincial Team Award Juvenile Men’s Greco-Roman: Team British Columbia
Wrestling Canada Lutte’s next sanctioned event will be the Canada Cup hosted by the Guelph Wrestling Club in Guelph on June 13, 2015.
