Biography

Burgess just missed out on a medal at the 2018 Cadet Pan Am Championships. She led in her bronze medal match against Brazil’s Anibal Ribei, but was pinned in the second half to take fifth place.

She finished eleventh at the 2017 Cadet World Championships.

At her first international tournament, Burgess captured a silver medal at 65 kg at the 2017 Cadet Pan Am Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
