As we approach the start of the new Olympic cycle, the Board of Directors would like to engage with members, participants and supporters as part of WCL’s strategic planning process. The process will include the following tasks, including:

1. Define process and timelines
2. Collect input from WCL stakeholders
3. Develop draft plan
4. Collect feedback on draft plan
5. Refine & finalize strategic plan

WCL will form an advisory group to guide the development of the strategic plan. The Advisory Group will be comprised of a diverse cross-section of stakeholders who will be supported by Sheffe Consulting. To support this initiative, WCL is seeking volunteers from the following WCL stakeholder groups:

• Athletes (1)
• Coaches (1)
• Officials (1)
• Provincial/Territorial Sport Organizations / clubs (1)

Time Commitment:

• INTRODUCTORY CALLS (January): 1 or 2 introductory planning meetings. First one is scheduled for January 13, 2022 (7:00 – 8:30 pm ET)
• PLANNING SESSIONS (February): 4 x 90-min sessions
• REVIEW SESSION (April): 1 x 90-min session

A maximum of 1 volunteer from each group will be accepted. If interested, please submit a completed Expression of Interest Form by email to: [email protected] by noon, December 20, 2021.
