Wrestling Canada Lutte Announces Departure of Domestic Development Manager
(Ottawa, ON) – Wrestling Canada Lutte (WCL) today announced the resignation of Kyle Hunter as Domestic Development Manager, effective June 27, 2016.
Kyle will be moving to a new and exciting opportunity with Organized Sports Solutions, a company committed to ensuring the long-term success of sports by creating and managing revenue generation opportunities.
“On behalf of Wrestling Canada Lutte, I would like to sincerely thank Kyle for his contributions to wrestling in Canada, and wish him every future success,” said Tamara Medwidsky, Executive Director at Wrestling Canada. “He brought a unique and valuable perspective as well as a wealth of Canadian sport knowledge and experience to WCL. He was an instrumental member of our team here and will be sorely missed. We are confident that he will have an immediate impact at Organized Sports Solutions.”
Kyle was with the organization for the last 2 years as the Domestic Development Manager and was responsible for the development and administration of WCL’s development program. This included coach development and education; athlete development at the domestic level leading toward Canadian Championships; domestic and international event management and support; and participation program delivery.
WCL is currently undergoing a review of its staffing structure. Announcements regarding the hiring of new staff will be forthcoming following the completion of the review.
