Wrestling Canada Lutte (WCL), the national sport governing body for Olympic style wrestling in Canada, is seeking four to six athletes (two to three females, two to three males) who are capable, willing and motived to serve the organization in a volunteer capacity on the Athlete Council for various terms commencing December 2023 / January 2024.

The Athlete Council is a Board Standing Committee and will assist WCL, the Board of Directors, staff and other committees in understanding the interests, concerns, perspectives of national team athletes.

Individuals interested in submitting their candidature are kindly asked to complete the Expression of Interest (EOI) form: https://forms.gle/hyvPfR5qjpti3yvw8, no later than December 1^st, 2023.

Once all candidates are approved and finalized, WCL will facilitate an electronic election process. Any athlete who competed at the 2023 Senior Canadian Championships will be eligible to vote.
