Quest for Gold

The Quest for Gold program was established in 1992 to recognize podium performances by our athletes at the Olympic Games or Senior World Championships.

The Quest For Gold Fund Program would award up to $20,000 annually ($10,000 for senior men and $10,000 senior women) for medal performances as follows:

  1. Gold Medallist – maximum of $5,000
  2. Silver Medallist – maximum of $3,000
  3. Bronze Medallist – maximum of $2,000

In Olympic years, the Program would award podium performances as follows:

  1. Gold Medalist – $10,000
  2. Silver Medalist – $6,000
  3. Bronze Medalist – $4,000

NOTE: Olympic weight classes competing in a World Championships in an Olympic year are not eligible for performance awards as this would be a second opportunity for a result in the same year. Medal performances in non-olympic weight classes at a World Championship in an Olympic year are reduced in value.

You can help our athletes in their efforts by making a contribution to our Quest for Gold program. All persons making donations in excess of $50 will receive tax receipts and formal recognition, unless otherwise requested.

Help inspire our athletes to be the best they can be! Please DONATE.
