Cadet and Juvenile Wrestlers Head to Fredericton for 2015 Championships
Ottawa – With selection to Cadet National Teams on the line, Canada’s best Cadet and Juvenile wrestlers will compete at Aitken University Centre at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, NB the site for the 2015 ASICS Cadet / Juvenile Canadian Wrestling Championships April 10 – 12, 2015.
This Canadian Championship will be the primary selection event for the Cadet National Teams which will represent Canada at several international events leading up to the 2015 Cadet World Championships in Sarajevo this August. This event represents the highest level event within the national competition system and brings with it the pressure of performance and the rewards for those that make it through to the top positions.

The 2015 ASICS Cadet / Juvenile Canadian Wrestling Championships, as sanctioned by Wrestling Canada Lutte, will be organized by the Black Bears Wrestling Club and Lutte New Brunswick Wrestling (LNBW). The event will feature eight competition mats and will include Men’s Freestyle and Women’s wrestling at the cadet level (15-16 year-olds) as well as Men’s Freestyle, Greco-Roman and Women’s wrestling at the juvenile level (17-18 year-olds). The event will also feature women’s Greco-Roman wrestling and Cadet Team Trials.
