EDMONTON – The final day of wrestling at the U17 / U19 Canadian Championships at the University of Alberta concluded with Women’s Cadet Team Trials and U17 & U19 men’s and women’s Greco-Roman wrestling.

Wrestling Canada Lutte would like to thank the Golden Bears Wrestling Club, and the organizing committee for hosting an outstanding event. The tournament saw almost 600 wrestlers from 63 clubs across Canada.

Outstanding Greco-Roman wrestlers of the tournament were selected based on ballots submitted during competition. The awards were presented to:

U17 Women’s Greco-Roman: Elena Sehic – Black Bears Wrestling Club
U19 Women’s Greco-Roman: Saige Evertman – Saskatoon Jr. Huskies
U17 Men’s Greco-Roman: Isaac Leblanc – Mountaintop Wrestling Club
U19 Men’s Greco-Roman: Cole Sanderson – Prince Albert Wrestling Club

Saskatoon Jr. Huskies cleaned up the team awards winning all four categories the Club Team Awards.
