WCL adds Kaufman as Program Coordinator
Ottawa – Wrestling Canada Lutte is pleased to announce the addition of Mitch Kaufman on a full-time basis as Program Coordinator.
Kaufman will provide program coordination and administrative support to the High Performance Manager, IST Manager and Sport Development & Events Manager.
Kaufman has worked with WCL in a variety of capacities since May 2016. He has been on contracts providing administrative support, leading national championship registration and supporting the high performance department. He first joined WCL with an internship in the Sport Management Program at Brock University.
He also works as Results Manager for the International Ice Hockey Federation where he has overseen volunteer teams responsible for the collection, reporting and distribution of statistics during international hockey tournaments.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to join Wrestling Canada Lutte in a full-time capacity,” said Kaufman. “I’ve enjoyed getting to know and work with every member of the community I’ve worked with so far and look forward to the opportunity to help WCL continue to reach and surpass all of its goals.”
“We’re thrilled to have Mitch join us full-time,” said Tamara Medwisky, Executive Director. “Mitch has proven to be a valuable member of the WCL team and he will continue to be an asset in supporting our programs and providing administrative support.”
Kaufman begins his new role on December 11.
