Wrestling Canada Lutte partners with Suples and United World Wrestling

March 06, 2019

OTTAWA – Wrestling Canada Lutte (WCL) has partnered with Suples and United World Wrestling to provide the four Canadian High Performance Centres with Suples training equipment.

The partnership is facilitated through United World Wrestling to provide national wrestling federations with Suples training systems.

“The equipment uniquely incorporates the movements of the sport of wrestling in an incredible functional, high impact way and I’m super excited to get my hands on more and get to work,” said 2016 Olympic Champion Erica Wiebe. “I’m excited to expand my training with the Suples system and take my training to the next level as I prepare for Tokyo 2020.”

Each centre will be able to select the equipment that best suits their needs in the training room. Suples training systems include the Bulgarian Bag, the Suples Ball, and Suples Dummies and many more.

“I am happy to see Wrestling Canada Lute is interested in implementing the Suples Training Systems in their preparation before Tokyo Olympic Games,” said Suples President and Founder Ivan Ivanov. “I believe that the coaches and athletes will find Suples equipment effective for their performance training and I wish Wrestling Canada Lutte success!”

The equipment will be purchased over the next twelve months.

“This partnership is a great opportunity to provide wrestling-specific equipment to our athletes,” said Wrestling Canada Lutte’s Marketing & Communications Manager Chris Reith. “We thank United World Wrestling for facilitating this partnership and Suples for providing us with world-class equipment.”
