Wrestling Canada Lutte (WCL) is seeking applications from individuals from the wrestling community to support various program work.
Finance & Audit Committee

Safety in Sport PTSO Alignment Working Group
- Up to five participants from the local wrestling community will be selected to work alongside staff and consultants of WCL as part of a working group to improve and enhance safety in sport systems and processes to ensure alignment with WCL and its PTSOs.
- It is anticipated that the work will involve reviewing WCL and PTSO policies and structures, reviewing feedback received from the broader community, meeting to discuss feedback, and preparing revised and / or new policies and structures (as necessary).
- To participate as a member of the working group, an existing understanding of WCL’s Safe Sport policies, Abuse-Free Sport and Office of the Sport Integrity Commissioner (OSIC), and an understanding of the evolving Safe Sport landscape in Canada is necessary and desirable. Experience and / or a background in any or a combination of the following areas is also desirable: legal, sport administration, policy implementation. Individuals with exceptional attention to detail, a collaborative attitude, and the desire to improve wrestling’s Safety in Sport programs will enjoy and excel in this role. Athletes are encouraged to apply!
- The working group will meet by video conference. Members of the working group should expect to participate in a minimum of two meetings of 1-2 hours duration each month. Additional work will be expected outside of meeting times.
- The term of the working group will generally be from June 2024 to March 2025.
