ZAGREB, Croatia – Carson Lee of Flin Flon, Man., has had his Cadet World Championship finish upgraded to a bronze medal.

Lee, who is now 17, had originally finished fifth in the 80 kg weight class at the championships.

The Saskatoon Jr Huskies wrestler defeated Ulrich Manouan of Côte d’Ivoire 3-1 in the repechage to qualify for the bronze medal match, before dropping the bronze medal match 0-11 to Milan Korcsog of Hungary.

The modification in results comes after gold medallist Dmitrii Elkanov of Russia was disqualified.
