GUATEMALA CITY – Canada’s top cadet wrestlers will be competing in the Cadet Pan American Championships May 26 – 27 in Guatemala City.

Six of the eighteen wrestlers competed at last year’s Cadet Pan Am Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and all six took home medals.

Lachlan McNeil is the lone returning champion, while his brother Gregor and Carson Lee each captured silver medals. Dechlan Papadopoulos, Victoria Seal and Nyla Burgess all picked up bronze.

Last year’s team of twenty-one cadets took home thirteen medals in total.
