Women’s Cadet Trials & Greco-Roman Competition Completes 2017 Championships
(Windsor, ON) – The final day of wrestling at the St. Denis Centre at the University of Windsor concluded with Women’s Cadet Team and Greco-Roman Team Trials, as well as Juvenile Greco-Roman and Women’s Greco-Roman wrestling.

Wrestling Canada Lutte would like to thank the University of Windsor, the Essex Wrestling Wrestling Club, and the organizing committee for hosting an outstanding event. A special thanks goes out to all the volunteers who made this event happen.
The Junior Huskies Wrestling Club came away with top honours on the final day of competition. Based on ballots submitted during the competition, the Outstanding Juvenile Men’s Greco-Roman wrestler award went to 100 kg champion Hunter Lee of the Junior Huskies Wrestling Club. Hunter came away from the weekend with 2 championship titles and 2 outstanding wrestler awards. The Outstanding Women’s Greco-Roman wrestler award went to Edmonton Wrestling Club’s Rachel Remesz at 65 kg.

- Provincial Team Award Juvenile Men’s Greco-Roman: Team Ontario

- Provincial Team Award Women’s Greco-Roman: Team Ontario
Canada next plays host to Canada Cup, being hosted in Guelph on July 8th.
